Virginia Beach Engagement Photography | Meredith + Matt at Fory Story

I am the worst blogger in the world at getting around to post our sessions but I just had to find time for Meredith & Matt’s recent engagement session.  I find it a blessing to get calls and emails from prospective brides that want our services for their engagement portraits.  Engagement and Couples (in Love ) photography is our number 1 thing.

Meredith selected our “Photo Safari” which is two locations and allows for unlimited clothing changes.  We started off near their home in Sajo Farms in Virginia Beach for the first set and then moved to Fort Story at the oceanfront for the remainder of the session.  I will tell you the day of their session was what I call “Dirty South Hot”.  I mean HOT HOT HOT.

Matt is now deployed  to Afghanistan so say a prayer for him and Meredith while they are apart.  Their wedding is set for next August in Cape May, NJ and I know it’s gonna be just spectacular.  Another set of “Amazing Pictures For Fabulous Couples”.

Little Caroline | I’m Two | Chesapeake Child Photography

We had a wonderful session with little 2 year old Caroline the other day that I wanted to share.  I just love her little spirit and she was just a joy to photograph.  Our children & family lifestyle sessions can be taken around Hampton Roads in many wonderful places. “Amazing Pictures For Fabulous Kids”.

Chesapeake Family Lifestyle Portraiture – Cutest Family Ever..

I have been working with Shannon and Josh for a few years now starting with an amazing Couples (in Love) beach session and now photographing their beautiful baby girl Emma.  This is session 3 with our Bebe’ First Year Program that starts with their 1st month and has 4 different sessions through their 1st birthday.  She has grown so fast, it’s hard to believe it’s the same little baby we started with 7 months ago.

Shannon chose to have these taken at the Chesapeake Arboretum, things are starting to bloom and it’s a great location right in our own backyard for photo awesomeness.   Few more month you see this family again for some beach pictures and maybe a cake smash.  Can you find the bunny in one of the pics?

Urban Kids | Hampton Roads Child Photography

We live in Portsmouth and having historic Olde Towne in our backyard is wonderful.  Many child photographers photograph children playing in parks and playgrounds and we do as well but how about having your child dress up as a fashion model and rock the streets of Olde Towne.  It’s something fun, funky and different.  Blake is a little 6 year old and his mom Amie is the owner of  “The Klumsey Moose Children’s Boutique ” in Greenbrier.  If your looking for some amazing children’s clothes please stop by and make sure you tell them that Dave sent ya.

I finally bought a storyboard tool for photoshop and this is my first blogged storyboard and I am pretty psyched about that.  Hopefully I won’t be such a slack blogger with this fun new tool.

Chloe & Camille | Twin Child Models Hampton Roads | Virginia Beach

It’s been awhile since I have photographed twins so when I got the initial email from the mom I was pretty excited. It was one of those late winter days, the sun was out but we were fighting temps and the wind. The girls were rocking the pics and had a blast. The girls have not been signed by a talent agency yet and are looking for modeling and/or acting work. I have no doubt in my mind they will soon. Good luck girls..
